There's a new hip-hop girl group waiting to debut in the K-pop world.

Jungle Entertainment's rookie girl group, 4TEN, unveiled their teaser clip for their upcoming debut single "Tornado" on their official YouTube channel.

The teaser clip and images are making headlines as they were both shot in L.A., giving off a more "vintage" vibe to the group as well as their upcoming music video.

"4TEN's sophisticated and mature concept in their teaser clip makes the group seem like they've been in the K-pop industry for years, which is making fans all the more excited to see what they have to offer," wrote Minhee of the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

"Tornado" has a dance-pop rhythm mixed in with the powerful sound of the electric guitar. The track is expected to be a hit because 4TEN has mixed a traditional Korean melody with a more exotic tune.

4TEN members also contributed heavily to the writing, composing and producing process of their debut track.

The four-member idol group will drop their single at midnight on August 26 through various Korean music sites and is set to officially begin their promotions for their first song soon after.

Although the girls of 4TEN have yet to debut, TEM, Hye Ji, Eun Jin and Hye Jin have already gained quite a bit of attention amongst hip-hop lovers in Korea due to their pre-debut promotion activities, according to the publication Yahoo Celebrity Philippines.

TEM and Hye Ji were featured on several hits tracks of their colleague boy-group M.I.B, which has skyrocketed in popularity as of late.

The name 4TEN comes from the word "potential" and plays with the sound of "bomb" in Korean, which is pronounced poktan. The name is meant to represent the "explosive skills of the hip-hop girl group."

4TEN has kept their rapping skills out of the teaser, to the dismay of K-pop fans.

"As for the teaser of 'Tornado,' it is way cuter than expected, eventually a shame that we do not get to hear the rapper's voices," wrote bnt news.
