100,000 Fans Of Super Junior's Leeteuk Follow Rumored Official Instagram Account

More and more K-Pop idols are reported to be joining Instagram each day.

Super Junior's leader Leeteuk, who recently returned to public life after finishing up his military service, is the latest idol said to have joined the social media site.

The account, special_js1004, is based on Leeteuk's stage name which means "special" in Korean, his legal name "Jungsoo," and the number 1004, which sounds like "angel" in Korean. Fans called Leeteuk an "angel without wings" since early on in Super Junior's career, so, if confirmed, it seems that Leeteuk has used the number 1004 for both his Twitter (@special1004) and Instagram.

However, the account only has pictures of Leeteuk from an appearance on a variety show and a Super Show 6 poster, and the singer has yet to confirm the account via his official Twitter page.

It seems likely that it is his account, considering that other Super Junior members have recently opened accounts, including Siwon and Donghae.

Within 24 hours of the first picture posted on the rumored account, it gained over 100,000 followers. While it is not as many followers as EXO members gained within 24 hours of creating their accounts, it is an extraordinary amount considering that the only thing posted is a poster advertisement.

Once either Leeteuk or SM Entertainment confirms the account, it is sure to gain even more followers.

Leeteuk returned from the army this past month, and made his first public performance at the recent SMTOWN in Seoul concert.

Super Junior has recently begun to release promotional pictures for its upcoming album, "Mamacita." The album is expected to be released on September 1, with songs being available on August 29 online.
