Robin Thicke endured a very public heart break when wife Paula Patton left him, but it looks like he may be finding comfort in former Mrs. Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes. The ‘Blurred Lines’ singer was alleged to have cheated on Patton numerous times, but it seems the actress is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, as reports have surfaced that the two have developed an online relationship. It also just so happens that Holmes recently bought a new home in LA. Could she and daughter Suri be moving in order to get closer to her new beau?

According to insiders, the correspondence between the two began when Holmes emailed Thicke to ask how he was doing post Patton breakup.  They apparently really hit it off, bonding over the shared experience of public divorce. Sources say the new couple has yet to go on a physical date, but plan to later this month, after his current concert tour ends. One source says, “everyone’s really encouraging this as they have so much in common, and if anyone can get him over Paula, it’s Katie.”

Thicke has been very open about the devastation he felt after Patton left him. He even wrote a song ‘Get Her Back,’ in which he begged the actress to return to him. Unfortunately for him, Patton had no interest in forgiving the star, who has quite a reputation of being a womanizer. The question arises then, can Holmes trust Thicke to remain faithful to her?

The actress and may taking a giant leap of faith, it looks like she’s going to be spending a lot more time on the West Coast, where Thicke live. Holmes has been living in New York for the last two years, since her split with Cruise, and has said she and Suri are very happy there. She says that she bought the new LA home so that she could split her time between the two cities. Could she be making this move in order to devote more time to her budding romance?
