Rookie group B.A.P ranks at the top of a K-Pop chart in Malaysia.

According to a representative for B.A.P, the group recently grabbed the #1 spot in the K-Pop chart with the group's song "Power" on the Malaysia's popular TV channel 8TV's program "Night Live."

B.A.P recently have been active in Malaysia making itself known, with their recently solo showcase in Kuala Lumpur in June as well as making an appearance as one of the guests on a popular audition program on 8TV earlier this month.

The group managed to rise to the top beating out fierce competition such as Big Bang, JYJ's Junsu and INFINITE.


8TV extensively covered B.A.P's local press conference & interview, and showcase on their own programs. The popular TV channel also continuously shot individual members activities even organizing a special program just for B.A.P showing great interest in them.

B.A.P is in preparations to make a comeback with their first mini-album No Mercy in Korea
