Girl group KARA is making its comeback as a strong four-member team.

The members held a surprise fan meeting at a park on August 24 after their appearance on the popular SBS music program Inkigayo, according to the Korean publication Osen.

KARA met with 250 fans and were seen eating food and interacting with those who were able to attend the event. Devoted fans of the idol group welcomed the comeback of KARA with a congratulatory song as well.

"This is the same park we made our debut with the track 'Rock You.' We're so happy to be able to meet with our fans here during the week of our release of 'Mamma Mia,'" stated KARA member Ku Hara.

The idol member continued, "You guys are truly giving us the strength to work harder. Thank you for standing by us this week. In the future, we'll make sure to provide better music and performances as KARA."

KARA made their comeback with the release of their sixth mini-album titled "Day & Night" on August 18. Since the drop of their recent album, the girls have been making appearances on various music and variety programs.

The K-pop group has gone through its ups and downs after two of its members Kang Jiyoung and Nicole decided to leave the Korean pop scene to focus on their studies.

KARA has since welcomed new members Heo Young-ji, who they picked through the television program KARA project-KARA The Beginning. Heo had been undergoing training by entertainment agencies to be a singer and had been praised by industry professionals for her impeccable dancing and singing skills, according to the Global Post.

Although the new member is a perfect fit for the group, Heo revealed during an appearance on Korea's Entertainment Weekly that she was quite nervous meeting a specific member of KARA, according to the publication Star N.

"Seung Yeon is the last member that I met, and I was very worried about how I should approach her first. I am a very shy person, and it is true that I could not approach her initially. However, we're much closer now," explained Heo.
