The new idol group ZEST chose Shinhwa as their role model.

ZEST made their debut at the end of July with a remake version of "Last Night Story", being chosen as the new rising idol group of 2014. At a recent interview, ZEST revealed that they want to be a long-lasting group like Shinhwa.

Shinhwa debuted in 1998 and became one of the top 6 original idol groups of that time period, and other idol groups have always revealed their respect for Shinhwa.

ZEST's leader Shun said, "The reason K-Pop is so loved right now is original idol groups like Shinhwa existed. Even during my trainee days, Shinhwa was always my role model as I practiced. As Shinhwa is still together as a group, I hope ZEST stays long with our fans."
