Girl group SISTAR's member Hyorin donated instead of showering with an ice bucket, sending a message of encouragement.

On August 25, Hyorin posted on SISTAR's Twitter, "Thanks to those who challenged me, I was able to be involved in such a good cause. I decided to donate instead of doing an ice bucket shower. I ask for your continued attention and support for this cause" along with a picture.

In the picture, Hyorin was smiling and was holding a piece of paper that had the account number of the ALS association on it. The paper also read, "Cheer up, ALS patients. I ask for all of your continued attention and support."

Internet users who saw this commented, "I like the donation idea," "The patients must feel so encouraged," etc.
