INFINITE Added To ‘A-Nation’ Lineup Along With Big Bang And TVXQ

Boy group INFINTE will be making its first "a-nation" festival appearance on August 31.

The seven-member K-pop group is set to perform at the Tokyo Agimoto Stadium for the last event of the "a-nation Island & Stadium Festival," according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

"a-nation" is one of Japan's biggest summer music festivals and has been known worldwide for its incredible lineup year after year. For 2014, INFINITE will be joining fellow idol groups, including Big Bang, who is set to perform on August 29, and TVXQ, who will heat up the stage on August 30.

INFINITE has been making their way to the top of the K-pop scene, wrapping up concerts in the U.S. on their recent world tour.

"We haven't had much opportunity to perform for our fans in other countries. We wanted to show our stage performance outside of Korea," INFINITE's leader Sunggyu told Fuse TV.

The boys of INFINITE are now big enough to take on different stages overseas without any trouble.

INFINITE created a solid fan base for themselves after their debut in Japan in 2011 with their hit album "BTD," and has continued to dominate music charts with tracks such as "Be Mine" and "She's Back." The members held their arena tour in Yokohama and Nagoya in 2012, performing for a total of 70,000 fans.

Their recent album "Last Romeo" won them a top spot on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.

The members of INFINITE credit their ability to connect with their wide international fan base through their music for their continuous success.

"They all call out for names and follow along with our songs. I don't think there's a large difference [between fans throughout the world]. Korean fans know Korean. American fans know English. Thai fans know Thai. But don't they all feel the same connection to music? Even if their languages are different," explained Sunggyu.
