Girl group T-ARA's Hyomin is making a name for herself in the Chinese music industry.

The idol member topped one of China's most popular music video sites, "Inwuitei K-pop Chart" with her solo track "Nice Body," according to the Korean publication Osen.

Hyomin made her solo debut in late June of this year, getting the attention of both male and female fans with her ultra-sexy music video, which she prepared for intensely.

"I went through a diet and did cross-fit exercises at the same time in order to get a nicer body, like the title of my song," explained Hyomin during an interview with Sports Today.

Although the singer impressed her fans with her sultry track and toned midriff, she also received quite a bit of criticism for "objectifying a female's body," and "making it seem like she was encouraging girls to change themselves just to achieve the standards set by society," according to the publication MSN Entertainment XIN.

While T-ARA members Jiyeon and Hyomin have officially gone solo, the girls will be joining their fellow group members for their comeback in Korea on September 11.  

Although T-ARA has gone on to do great things in the Korean pop industry, the K-pop group made headlines back in 2012 due to bullying allegations made within the now seven-member girl group, according to The Straits Times.

Controversy reportedly began when five of the members posted tweets that were clearly critical towards rapper Hwa Young. Following the incident, the group's management agency Core Content Media announced it was ending its contract with Hwa Young.

During an interview earlier this year, Hwa Young revealed that even though she's preparing to become an actress, she still misses her days as an idol member, according to Allkpop.

"I'm close with Sungjong of INFINITE and Dasom of SISTAR, and when they get #1 on music programs, I would sincerely congratulate them, but there is a part of me that is wistful," explained the former T-ARA member.
