GOT7 Greeted By More Than 7,000 Fans In Thailand

Following their incredible success in the K-pop industry in both Korea and Japan, idol group GOT7 has now begun to make their mark in Thailand.

The seven-member K-pop group recently paid a visit to fans in Thailand from August 22 to 24 and was seen being greeted by hundreds of fans at the airport, hotel and various promotion events, according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

The hashtag "#Welcome GOT7 to Thailand" was trending on Twitter the day the boys arrived in Thailand. Approximately 1,000 fans greeted the members of GOT7 at the Bangkok Airport.

GOT7 skyrocketed to fame with their recent change in concept and image, which they achieved with the help of their producer, Park Jin-young, according to the Korea Times.

"I was recording once, and producer Park told me that I lacked feeling, so I started singing with feeling. Then he told me that the feeling got in the way of my singing. He's really passionate when recording and I think his take on the song 'A' (and the stage concept) has worked out well," explained member JB.

The members of the popular idol group impressed fans with their performance of tracks from their two mini-albums during the "Tofu Music Festival," which was held on August 23. Member Bam Bam, who is reportedly from Thailand, even taught his fellow members how to say certain things to fans in his native language, which got the 7,000 fans that attended the event even more excited.

GOT7 also made an appearance on the popular variety program "Ruang Lao Sao Aatit" on their last day in Thailand, successfully wrapping up their album promotions.

GOT7 will be performing at the "2014 JYP NATION - ONE MIC" concert that will be held in Hong Kong on August 30 as well.

Despite their success in the Korean pop world, the members are GOT7 have vowed to work even harder for their devoted fans.

"I think we still have a long way to go. In our view, we're just beginning," JB explained.
