‘Bond 24’ Title Rumors, Release Date 2015: Daniel Craig Heads To Austria For Filming As 007 James Bond, Plot Set In Norway?

According to a new report, "Bond 24" star Daniel Craig and the cast and crew of the new James Bond film will head to Austria for filming in 2015. Will the plot of "Bond 24" be set in Norway? Read on for more details on title rumors and the release date of the new 007 film!

According to MI6.com, Daniel Craig and the "Bond 24" team will head to a small town in Austria called Obertilliach, close to the Italian border, for three days in January to shoot "wintry action scenes."

It is believed that the Austrian town may double as Norway, though there has been no confirmation on these rumors.

Mayor Mathias Scherer was "tight lipped," but did tell MI6.com: "James Bond? I can neither confirm nor anything else. There will be a film project, but what exactly, I can not say now..."

The publication further reports that up the Austrian-Italian border, the larger town of Sölden is also rumoured to be hosting location filming. Some are speculating that "Bond 24" may be the first in the James Bond franchise in the Daniel Craig era to see our favorite agent 007 on skis!

This isn't the first time Daniel Craig's James Bond has visited Austria: he filmed in Bregenz, Austria in 2008's "Quantum of Solace" for the opera sequence.

The release date for "Bond 24" is currently November 6, 2015. While no official title has been released yet, director Sam Mendes himself has been referring to the upcoming film as "Bond 24."

However, as we previously reported, rumors are cropping up that a delayed production may cause an eventual premiere delay for the new James Bond movie. According to the Daily Mail, production on "Bond 24" has been pushed back to start in late November or early December, due to a major script rewrite. Sam Mendes brought "Skyfall" original writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade back to "Bond 24" to rewrite the script turned in by Oscar-winning screenwriter John Logan, according to rumors reported by The Daily Mail, because there weren't enough "gags" and jokes between James Bond and Moneypenny.

So far it seems the film remains on schedule to premiere November 2015, Den of Geek reports.

Let's hope there are no more delays!
