Fans are going wild over the renewed 'IU Syndrome.'

Last week, IU gave a performance of her title song, You and I, through KBS' Music Bank and SBS' In-ki Gayo (Popular Songs). It was a stellar performance, rivaling a musical.

The lyrics to the song, You and I (a song about the young girl's journey through time), were displayed on stage. And IU showed off her upgraded magical charm through her 'Tick-tock dance' - a dance where she mimics the hands of a clock with her arms - and her cute 'Jem-jem dance'.

Also, she was able to hold the attention of her fans during her comeback performance by performing contrasting other songs with her title song You and I, like Uncle and The Star-searching Child.

The humorous and cheerful performance of Uncle, which announcer Hyun-moo Jeon joined in, gave the audience enjoyment. The Star-searching Child was a lyrical and beautiful performance, which composer Kwang-jin Kim presented for IU while coming out for the first time in 9 years on a satellite broadcasted song program.

IU especially did not disappoint her fans with her outstanding voice range and perfect live performance, which aroused roars from the audience.

Meanwhile, IU officially began her activity for her 2nd album with this comeback performance. After a weekend of captivating her fans, she swept the #1 spot on Korean online music sites' weekly charts, imprinting her name yet again in the hearts of music fans.

Interest was stirred as other songs from IU's album - besides title song, You and I - made it into the top 10 of the weekly charts. Through the release of her full-length album, IU is proving that she is able to handle both musicality and popularity very well. And as a female artist, she is expanding her own unique territory.

IU stated, "I'm really happy that I can show all of my fans my performance. Thank you all for cheering me on, and I will continue to show you my improving and varied performances."

IU plans to continue her activity through music, talent, and radio programs.
