Hyungdon & Daejun's New Song 'Park Gyu' Deemed Inappropriate By KBS For Suggestive Lyrics

KBS ruled Hyungdon and Daejun's new song, "Park Gyu" and two additional songs inappropriate due to language and references.

Hyungdon and Daejun's song was decided ineligible on August 27. They were criticized for "Park Gyu, Byung Jin," which suggested swearing as the words sound suspiciously similar to R-rated terms.

For their title song, "It's For Sure," they use Kakao Talk in their lyrics, which is branding, and also have, "Get sucked in, brushed out, and taken off," which was considered too suggestive.

South Korean media broadcasting laws prohibit product placement and branding in things such as songs, TV shows, and movies.

In addition, they mentioned characters in a Japanese comic book and had more branding mentioned.
