Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong left for China today to continue his Asia tour amidst the assault allegations that surfaced last week.

Kim's concert will be held at the Guangzhou Sports Center at 7:30PM KST and has been noted to be the "Boys Over Flowers" star's last concert before enlisting in the army for his mandatory military service, according to the Korean publication Naver.

The actor has been the focus of media attention after his former girlfriend reportedly pressed charges against him for repeated physical assault, according to the publication Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

Kim Hyung Joong's management agency Key East recently announced their official position regarding the recent allegations.

"First of all, we would like to make a sincere apology for the delay in this announcement. We would like to make another apology for causing concern to many fans," stated a representative from Key East.

The rep added, "According to our confirmation with Km Hyun Joong, it is true that Kim Hyung Joong knew her since 2012, but their romantic relationship was only a problem during the last few months. The two had a major argument in the middle of their relationship, and a big physical fight broke out. However, it is not true that Kim Hyun Joong repetitively assaulted her during the last two months."

Kim's management agency continued, "There was only one physical fight between the two, and the fracture in her ribs was not a result of the fight. She just realized that she had a fracture in her ribs later when she was alone. We regret that reports about this issue are different and exaggerated from the fact. Kim Hyun Joong and our company will unveil the truth by cooperating in investigations."

The decision to continue Kim Hyun Joong's ongoing tour has reportedly caused controversy amongst the public. Kim's agency reportedly stated that after he wraps up his tour, Kim will be spending some time for himself for a while.

"We would like to make a sincere apology once again," the representative concluded.
