Britney Spears just had a really bad day. The "Piece of Me" songstress posted a video to Instagram on Friday (Aug. 29) that let fans in on how she is feeling after her break up with David Lucado.

Despite new reports that David may have been seen with another woman earlier this month in West Hollywood, Spears appeared to look on the bright side of things in the video, gushing over a pal's heart-printed shoes.

"Okay, if you ever have a really, really sh**y day, find someone with shoes with hearts on them. Made my day," said Spears to the camera.

Although Spears spoke in an upbeat tone in the short video, the singer appeared to get emotional in the last seconds of the clip.

"She is heartbroken. She is in Vegas," a source told E! News. "But she will get through it. She's a strong girl and he was never right for her."

A rep for Spears confirmed her break up with Lucado on Aug. 28 after news surfaced that the "Womanizer" singer had discovered a video of her boyfriend kissing another woman.

"Yes, she's single," the rep told Perezhilton.com.

Spears is currently performing her live "Piece of Me" show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, where she will be taking the stage this weekend.

However, the Lucado drama continues as Radar reports that David was spotted with "a cute blonde" at Micky's in West Hollywood on Aug. 2.

An eyewitness alleged that the pair "were dancing all night" and "seemed really into each other."

It's unclear if this supposed woman is the same from the suspected video that led to Spears and Lucado's break up. 

"Britney became aware of the video [on August 26] and broke up with David," a source told Radar regarding that alleged article of evidence. "She was truly surprised and is devastated by the betrayal."
