Detroit-born K-pop singer Chad Future is churning out the singles from his first solo EP "The First Mini Album," which was released last month. Future released his new single, a duet called "When U Call."

Future's new music video for "When U Call" introduces the Korean-American singer Jaimie Seo to the music scene.

"When U Call is a really fresh and feel good song for the summer time, I hope everyone enjoys it a lot! Please support Jamie too, she's a great upcoming artist," Chad told KpopStarz exclusively. 

"When U Call" blends together Korean and English lyrics. This song is the next single from Chad Futures first mini album which also features collaborations with artists such as VIXX's Ravi and NU'EST's Aron.

The music video for "When U Call" was filmed over two days in Los Angeles.

"When U Call" was written by Chad and Seo. It was produced by ADR with additional production by Darren "Baby Dee" Smith, known for his work with G-Unit and Def Jam. It was mastered by Tom Coyne who has worked with K-pop artists like Girls' Generation, 2NE1 and BigBang as well as American artists Beyoncé, Ariana Grande and Usher.

The leadoff single to Chad's EP, "VIXX Ravi (Rock The World)" received over 300,000 views on YouTube. Future followed that up with "Got It Figured Out," a duet with Aron from the K-pop boy band NU'EST.

Chad Future, whose real name is David Lehre, was the lead rapper and singer of Heart2Heart, a five-member boy band, who were the protégés of Lance Bass of 90s boy band N'Sync.

Future describes his music as "AK-pop" or "American music inspired by K-pop."
