Tracy Morgan Accident Update: ’30 Rock’ Actor Struggling With Recovery; Comedian Relies Heavily On Wheelchair

Tracy Morgan accident update is not the good news fans are expecting as the "30 Rock" actor is struggling with recovery and relying heavily on the wheelchair for mobility.

Lawer Benedict P. Morelli dished out Tracy Morgan accident update to People magazine as he claimed that the comedian is "really having a tough time."

He said that walking on his own two feet might take months so right now, Tracy Morgan depends on the wheelchair as well as the help of the "30 Rock" actor's family in order to move around. But he's continuing with his therapy just inside his home with the help of a specialist.

"He's making incremental progress but they'll have to wait another month before they assess him cognitively," the lawyer added.

The Tracy Morgan accident update is a welcome development for the fans eager to hear of any news about the comedian. The last time there was any report from mainstream media regarding the results of his rehab was a few weeks ago.

The comedian broke his leg and ribs, as well as sustaining traumatic brain injuries, when the van he was riding was rear-ended by a Wal-mart truck along the New Jersey Turnpike. Tracy Morgan's assistant, Jeffrey Millea, and comedian Ardie Fuqua Jr. were also injured in the crash.

Last month, he was released from the rehab center to continue his therapy at home.

"He asked me to pass along his sincerest gratitude to everyone who has helped him get to this point. He would also appreciate some privacy during this crucial point in his recovery," spokesman Lewis Kay said in a statement distributed to the different media outlets.

Also last month, the "30 Rock" actor filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart after alleging that the company knew its truck driver, Kevin Roper, did not comply with federal rules on driver fatigue.

"As a result of Wal-Mart's gross, reckless, willful, wanton, and intentional conduct, it should be appropriately punished with the imposition of punitive damages," BBC reported, quoting court papers.
