Street N.O.M. Win Brand Expo Rookie Of The Year Award Days Before Announcing Member's Departure

Rookie boy band Street N.O.M (엔오엠 Hangul, or NOM) reached an exciting milestone just days following their 300th day since debut.

On August 31st KST, the band received the Rookie of the Year Award during the Republic of Korea Best Brand Expo. This is the second rookie award the group's brought home to JM STAR Entertainment and it looks like the momentum isn't stopping!

The group consisted of members A-IN (Kim Ain) Leader/Dancer, Yongki (Bae Chung Seok) Visual/Vocal, K (Kim Hyung In) Vocal, Yohan (Kim Jeonghwan) Vocal, and Hu (Min Jeonghu) Rapper/maknae, who was not present during the award ceremony.

On September 4th, JM STAR Entertainment released an official statement in the fancafe and Facebook fanbase page that Hu has withdrawn from the band. Details about his departure were not given. The entertainment company is also home to girl group Peach Girl.

NOM (not to be confused with 2013's heel-wearing rookies Nature Of Man), will continue working on their third album and preparing for activities in South Korea and the Philippines. At the time of this publication, an official release date for the third album has not been announced.

NOM fans, called NEYBS (pronounced like "navy"), are gearing up for a fan meet at K-Zoned on September 27. This is the first fan meeting since Hu's leaving and NEYBS are rallying around the band to show their continued support. The two-day event at SM megamall will bring fans of several K-Pop groups together in the Philippines.
