WINNER, comprised of members Seungyoon, Minho, Taehyun, Jinwoo, and Seunghoon, are doing a great job and getting recognized quickly. The guys were first recognized on the show 'Who Is Next: WIN' and are showing their amazing vocals each week on the major music shows. According to news media Billboard, WINNER's album '2014 S/S' is doing great on the music charts.

Jeff Benjamin, Billboard's resident K-Pop know-it-all, stated, "The quintet's first single was revealed less than three weeks ago and now they have a No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums chart and a Top 10 entry on Heatseekers Albums."

Also included on the article is an interview with the guys where they said their pre-debut was just a warm up before hitting stardom. WINNER stated, "That was us literally practicing and not being pros. That wasn't even 10 percent. This is our image and this is who we are now as professional artists. There is so much more for everyone to see. And this is what we're going to show everyone from now."

For the last week of August, news media PopDust published an article ranking the latest K-Pop singles.  The week before, the boys of YG Entertainment's WINNER ranked number one for their single titled, "Empty." Hhowever, the guys have now been bumped from the top spot by Busker Busker's leader Jang Beom Jun.

His new single titled, "Difficult Woman" is about a man who falls in love with a woman and then all his fantasies become a reality.

Ranking just behind Jang Beom Jun and WINNER is Park Boram for her new single titled, "Beautiful." Smooth dancer and soft-voiced idol Taemin makes his debut on the chart and ranks number five for his single titled, "Danger."
