Jackie Chan’s JJCC An International Success With First Album

Jackie Chan's Korean idol group JJCC is going international.

JJCC fans both in and out of Korea have been posting multiple dance covers of their choreography in "Bing Bing Bing" and music video reaction clips on YouTube as well as other popular video-sharing sites, according to the Korean publication Naver.

The Korean hip-hop group has been blowing up since they dropped their first mini-album "JJCC" on August 21 after a five-month hiatus.

The group's single "Bing Bing Bing" has proven to be quite a success for the five-member idol group, with the boys creating a fan base for themselves in China, Japan, America, Europe and South America. The reaction clips from all around the world are also reportedly showing JJCC members that they successfully executed their concept for the hit title track and album.

"The keyword for this album is 'toughness.' JJCC focused on getting rid of the soft and gentle image that they showed through the previous album. The martial arts choreography was designed to intensify the song's power," stated a representative from JJCC's management agency, Jackie Chan Group Korea, according to the publication Star N News.

JJCC initially gained widespread attention for being the first Korean idol group to come out under the management of action superstar Jackie Chan. However, since their debut, the members have shown the world that they have the potential to be K-pop stars with their impeccable singing and dancing skills.

JJCC topped the "K-pop Music Video Chart" on the EEchiE video-sharing site and ranked high on Billboard's "K-pop Chart" since debuting.

Members SimBa, E.co, Eddy, San Cheong and Prince Mak made their first comeback performance during the August 22 broadcast of the KBS 2TV program "Music Bank."

The talent of the five members has been acknowledged by Jackie Chan himself even before the boys debuted.

"Chan was involved in auditioning the band members and will manage the group personally. All five members are triple threats who can sing, dance, rap, and might act alongside Chan on the silver screen in the future," Sha-sha Lee, CEO of the Jackie Chan Group South Korea told AP, according to the publication The Diplomat.
