Chloe Moretz Boyfriend: ‘If I Stay’ Actress Doesn’t Want To Be A Damsel In Distress, Won’t Give Up Her Passion For Love

Even if Chloe Moretz boyfriend rumors have been associating her with Brooklyn Beckham, it does not mean that the 17-year-old wants to be a girl who waits to be wooed or saved.

The "If I Stay" actress admits that she does not like going on auditions for role wherein she is mandated to be the "little girl."

"Even now, I read these scripts about these girls where they're going, 'Oh save me!'. I can't wrap my head around it and it annoys me a little bit," she confessed to Independent. Moretz appears to be consistent with what she is saying because her previous characters in "Carrie" and "Kick Ass" portray empowered women.

Meanwhile, her character Mia in new flick "If I Stay" leaves Moretz with no choice but to act helpless after being in a car accident. Caught in a comatose state, Mia needs to make a choice whether she will stay or die.

Mia, a cellist, also has a boyfriend named Adam (Jamie Blackley). Chloe Moretz boyfriend has to take clue when the actress told the same publication that she wouldn't give up her passion for love: "It's why I love Mia so much, because she doesn't say, 'I'll give up Julliard for you'. She contemplates it for a second and then she's like, 'No, why would I ever give up what I love, what I've given my life to?'."

"I've been in tons of movies when I was younger and the lead was really mean, or she didn't really care. I think when you're the lead, you've got to boost the morale a little bit and keep the crew and everyone together. When you don't have someone doing that, everything falls apart," said the young actress who explained that lead stars shouldn't be mean and instead be appreciative.
