EunB Remembered: Korean Celebrities React To The Tragic Death Of Ladies' Code Member

It was reported early Wednesday morning that Ladies' Code member EunB passed away from a traffic accident.

A little after 1 a.m. (KST) on September 3, a van carrying the five members of Ladies' Code and staff members from their agency were involved in an accident leading to the death of the 21-year-old singer and the driver of the vehicle. Two other members of the group, Sojung and RiSe, suffered severe injuries and were taken to the University of Korea St. Vincent's Hospital in critical condition, according to the Korea Herald.

As friends, family members, and fans mourn the tragic and untimely death of EunB, an outpouring of love and support has emerged from within the Korean entertainment industry and Korean celebrities have flocked to social media to share their condolences.

Super Junior member Ryeowook shared via his Twitter account, “She was such a courteous beautiful junior.. my heart hurts. Please pray for EunB. I offer my deepest condolences. her fellow members must be the most in pain. Please sympathize with them. Their manager is also having a hard time, trying to take take in many schedules. Please drive safely.”

“It’s like my heart got torn up.. really,” wrote U-KISS member Kiseop. “I offer my deepest condolences. Members who are getting treatment, please gather strength.”

Block B's Taeil was especially saddened by the news having seen EunB just a few hours before the accident. “Just a few hours ago, I greeted her… It’s scary too and so regretful.  We pray for her and offer our deepest condolences. We hope the others injured will have a fast recovery,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Eunbi.. I pray that she is in a better place.. let us pray together for the safety of the other members and staff,” tweeted Jea of the Brown Eyed Girls.
