Ladies’ Code member RiSe (Kwon Ri Se) endured eleven hours of surgery, following a car accident which claimed the lives of the van driver and fellow Ladies’ Code member EunB.

The accident occurred on September 3 at 1:50 AM KST in rainy conditions. RiSe was immediately transported to The Catholic University of Korea St. Vincent Hospital for treatment.

She was in surgery for a total of eleven hours, undergoing several surgical procedures.

Enews reported on statements which were provided to the Korean news outlet Newsen by Polaris Entertainment. According to Enews, a representative from Polaris Entertainment stated that RiSe “was currently hospitalized in the ICU. The surgery is done but we are still watching over her.”

Ladies’ Code Sojung (Lee So Jung) also received surgery but her condition was not reported to be as severe as RiSe.

At last report,family members for Kwon RiSe who were in Japan were en route to the hospital in Korea to be by her bedside.

In the meantime, fellow Korean celebrities continue to express their shock regarding the accident while hoping RiSe to have a speedy recovery.
