Fans Mourn the Loss of Ladies' Code Member EunB After Fatal Car Accident

With the tragic news that Ladies' Code member EunB passed away early Wednesday morning after a traffic accident that also severely injured two other members of the K-Pop group, fans have taken to social media to share their grief and condolences.

Shortly after initial reports of the tragic news were released, social media sites like Facebook and Twitter began trending the hashtag #RIPEunB.

Fans have taken to the social networks to relay messages of support to the family and friends of the 21-year-old singer and to offer encouraging words to Ladies' Code members RiSe and Sojung who suffered severe injuries during the accident requiring surgery.

“My deep condolences to Ladies' Code EunB and all the members that suffered from the tragic accident,” wrote a fan by the name of Linda Wardani on Facebook.

Another fan by the name of Jennifer Barrios shared the music video for the Ladies' Code song “Hate You” along with the message, “This is one of my favorite Ladies' Code's songs. May God give EunB's family peace and solace and may Sojung and RiSe have a speedy recovery since they are both in critical condition. I hate when stuff like this happens. Such a talented group. Ladies' Code were selected by Billboard as one of five K-pop acts to watch in 2014.”

On Twitter the love is equally strong, with not only fans, but other Korean celebrities mourning the loss of EunB. Fan clubs for many other K-Pop groups have been exchanging virtual “hugs” with Lavely (Ladies' Code's official fan club name) members.

Twitter user @ultraviolent has been retweeted nearly 6,000 times (and counting) for the post, “Even if you're not a Ladies Code fan you should still retweet. #PrayForLadiesCode count this as a prayer,” along with a text photo reading, “Fandom hug. Pass it on.”
