Fans' Support Of JYJ In Japan Has Yet To Fade

Boy group JYJ is dominating music charts in Japan once again.

The trio ranked No. 1 on Japan's Tower Record Monthly Music Chart with their second studio album "Just Us," which was released in July, according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

"JYJ hasn't scheduled a date to go to Japan on their Asia tour for 2014 so Japanese fans have continuously been asking and requesting for the trio to make an appearance," stated JYJ's management agency, C-JeS Entertainment.

Local JYJ fans have made sure to show their ongoing support and love towards the group even more as of late.

Approximately 4,000 Japanese fans gathered for the four-day event "2014 JYJ Membership Week" that was held on the last week of July. 2,000 Japanese fans also attended member Jaejoong's drama fan meeting in Korea to support the idol member's role in the series Triangle.

Yoochun's fan meeting in Japan for his drama I Miss You was also met with great anticipation from Japanese fans, setting the record with a 5:1 ticketing sales ratio. Member Junsu was able to bring in a total of 63,000 people to attend his musical and ballad concert that was held in Tokyo and Osaka in May.

"It's highly impressive that JYJ was able to top the Tower Record Monthly Chart because their musical promotions and advertisements are quite limited in Japan. The continuous interest towards Japanese fans is sparking attention from other associates within the industry as well," stated an associate with JYJ.

JYJ began their 2014 Asia tour titled "The Return of the King" in Jamsil, Seoul on August 9 and have been performing for fans in major cities around Asia.

JYJ successfully finished their Asia tour concert in Vietnam most recently despite the fact that it was raining. The trio's concert was held at Quankhu7 Stadium in Vietnam on August 30, according to the publication Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

"It was great to perform under rain, and I think the rain actually made the concert much better. We will not forget this concert for a long time," stated JYJ.
