Is Amal Alamuddin about to pull a Kate Middleton and wear Alexander McQueen on her big day? George Clooney's fiancée was spotted at the British fashion house on Sept. 3 and speculation has begun that the bride-to-be's may have been shopping for a wedding dress.

According to the New York Post, Alamuddin was spotted running errands in London with her mother on Wednesday.

After a stop at the Michael John Hair Salon, the mother and daughter dropped by Alexander McQueen headquarters.

The future Mrs. Clooney reportedly spent 90 minutes in the fashion house before exiting. A seamstress allegedly walked Alamuddin out, the two engaged in discussion.

The Alexander McQueen brand famously designed the highly praised wedding dress of Kate Middleton for her nuptials to Prince William in 2011. Sarah Burton is currently the creative director of the legendary fashion house and is responsible for the Duchess of Cambridge's iconic bridal look.

Could Amal be hoping for her own princess moment in an Alexander McQueen design? That details of the dress remain a mystery... for now.

As for other details of the impending wedding, it appears that in spite of rumors that Clooney and Alamuddin, a British-Lebanese lawyer, were looking to marry at Highclere Castle, where the popular British television series "Downton Abbey" is filmed, the couple will, in fact, say 'I do' in Italy.

The New York Post reported in August that a spokesman at the register office at London's Chelsea Old Town Hall confirmed that the couple had filed a legal document for Alammudin to marry abroad. The paperwork specifically showed that they pair intended to hold their nuptials in Italy.

Another potential location for the wedding reception is Clooney's villa in Lake Como, Italy. The home also hosted the wedding of George's friends John Krasinski and Emily Blunt in 2010.

Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, announced their engagement in April and it is believed that they will wed sometime during the month of September.
