"The Joseon Gunman" and "Fated To Love You" both ended this week with epilogues (spoiler alert) that caught up with the characters three years later.

The struggle to achieve a happy end was a little harder for the "Joseon Gunman" as it involved several deaths and betrayals. A few significant leading characters died in the fight for freedom and the heroine almost died of her wounds.

But ultimately Yoon Kang, played by Lee Jun Ki and Soo In, played by Nam Sang Mi, survived to love each other and fight another day. The passage of three years finds that he has become a hero to the people. He continues to fight for injustice.
