B.A.P Dominates Major Music Charts In Japan With ‘Excuse Me’

Along with topping Japan's Tower Records Chart, idol group B.A.P has ranked No. 2 on the Oricon Daily Chart as well.

The five-member hip-hop group released their fourth Japanese single "Excuse Me" soon after the success of their previous single "No Mercy," which was released in April, according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

B.A.P released their first Japanese single "Warrior" last October, officially beginning their overseas promotions fairly quickly after debuting in 2012. "Warrior" was described as a "powerful and charismatic" single, according to MTV Korea.

B.A.P's four Japanese singles all ranked on the Oricon Chart's TOP9, proving that the K-pop group has officially broken into the Japanese entertainment industry.

In celebration of the release of their recent single album, B.A.P held a free live event at the Grand Stadium at the La Zona Gawasaki Plaza, bringing in approximately 3,000 fans to the venue. The members were seen holding photo sessions with fans after performing their previous Japanese hit tracks.

A Japanese version of music video for "Excuse Me" will be released as well. Unlike their previous music video, EXO will be amping the "raw manliness" is this new version, according to the media outlet.

"Excuse Me" is a part of their third mini-album in Korea titled "Badman" and has gained immense popularity and love from fans in Korea, which led the way for the track to officially become a single in Japan.

"'Excuse Me' is a song that's really descriptive of B.A.P, with lots of fun, overflowing with confidence," stated B.A.P member Dae Hyun as he explained the inspiration for the track.

As much recognition as B.A.P has been getting for their musical choices, the members have been noted for their interesting fashion choices as well.

"Each member has his own original style, and I think it's great. Young Jae has a simple image. He likes grey very much. For Jong Up, sometimes it's hard to understand, but he prefers unique items. Something very flashy looks good on him. Young Guk too is simple, and looks good in black. ZELO looks good in unique style. Items that would look weird on us can become stylish on him. And about Dae Hyun's style... I don't really know," explained Him Chan
