Leaders Of K-Pop TVXQ & Girls' Generation Places 1st and 2nd On Oricon Chart

Representative idol groups TVXQ and Girls' Generation(SNSD) dominated the Oricon charts side by side.

On July 18, according to "Oricon Chart," the top music ranking website in Japan, TVXQ ranked 1st place with their album "Android" released on July 11. They've been rank 1 for a week now.

TVXQ has also set a meaningful record. This is their 11th time being on the top of Oricon chart, with 3.1 million sales of their single album, which was the biggest sales made yet.

Girls' Generation has also taken 2nd place on Oricon with their new Japanese single "Paparazzi."

"Paparazzi" was released on June 27, and though it has been long after the release date, it still lingered in the top of Oricon chart.
