Ariana Grand 'Problem' At Australian Photo shoot? 'Break Free' Singer Denies Listing Demands, Storming Off Set

Ariana Grande just can’t seem to, well, “break free” from all the rumors of diva-like behavior. Reports are now surfacing that during a recent photo shoot in Australia, the singer handed photographers a list of demands before storming off the set. Grande, who is on the continent promoting her new Album “My Everything,” has fired back though, insisting there is no truth to the claims. This all follows a previous round of rumors that she engaged in similar behavior at the “Stand Up To Cancer” benefit concert that took place last weekend in the US.

The Mirror reported on Monday that Grande only allowed one photo to be taken at the media event in question, before she stopped everything and handed photographers and members of the press a list of demands. Photographers were reportedly instructed, “don’t use natural light,” and “do shoot only from the left side of her face,” while reporters were reportedly forbidden from asking about topics such as “relationships, dating and ex-boyfriends,” “Mariah Carey,” and “working or collaborating with Justin Bieber.” The paper reports that the singer then left in a huff, with photographers waiting an hour before they were instructed to go home, with no material.

Grande, meanwhile, tells a very different story of how events went down. The singer got a chance to defend herself in a radio interview with Mike E and Emma on Edge 96.ONE. As she puts it, “It was just a photographer or something got mad at me because I left to change my outfit mid-photo shoot because I didn’t like my top.” She goes on, “I was like ‘oh I’ll be right back,” and then I came back and he had left and I was like ‘oh sh*t.’”

After the “Stand Up To Cancer” event, the Daily Star reported that a source called the singer a “total nightmare.” They allege she warned the lighting crew “if they used red spotlights she would go berserk,” and  she “kept everyone waiting while other stars came and did their thing.” Grande never responded to that report, but a different source rebutted the claims, telling Gossip Cop, “[Ariana] was fantastic…No one had a problem with her and vice versa.”

Grande says her response to the diva rumors is to simply shrug and move on. In the Edge 96.ONE interview she explained, “I’m just like ‘you know what, that’s not real, that’s nonsense.’ My fans know who I am, my family knows who I am, my friends know who I am, and that’s all that matters.”
