Alec Baldwin and Danny Glover Get Caught in a Maze in New Science Fiction Film Andron

Alec Baldwin and Danny Glover are teaming up for the upcoming science fiction action movie "Andron."

Alec Baldwin and Danny Glover will lead the cast of Andron, which also stars Michelle Ryan, from the film "EastEnders;" Skin, who is the lead vocalist of the British band Skunk Anansie; Jon Kortajarena from the film "A Single Man;" Gale Harold, who was on the series "Queer as Folk" and Leo Howard  from the film "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra."

The new sci-fi/action follows a group of young men and women who wake up in a dark, claustrophobic maze and struggle to survive. They people can't remember how they got in the labyrinth in the first place. In order to survive, they have to learn to decipher codes, understand the signals and beat tests in as they being watched by the rest of the world, who are betting on who will survive.

"Andron" is being produced by AMBI Pictures. AMBI is a newly launched film production and finance company owned and run by Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi. AMBI recently premiered the film "The Humbler," which was directed by Barry Levinson and starred Al Pacino, at the Toronto Film Festival.

This will be the directorial debut for Franceso Cinquem, who wrote the screenplay.

Principal photography will kick off this month in Malta but the pic is yet to get U.S. distributor.
