20,000 fans attended SHINee's concert at the Seoul Olympic Gymnasium.
On July 21 and 22, SHINee held their second exclusive concert "SHINee World II" at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena and performed in front of 20,000 fans.
Approximately a year and a half after their first exclusive concert in January of last year, SHINee put on an extravagant performance of the songs from their mini-album Sherlock. Their promotion for Sherlock ended last April after a successful promotion period. At the "SHINee World II" all the members stood in front of their fans with an improved version of themselves.
During the press conference prior to the start of the concert, SHINee members stated, "We would give ourselves about 150 out of 300 for this concert" and expressed their willingness to improve themselves for their fans.
SHINee continued, "If the score for the last concert was 30 out of 200, I would say this concert will be an improvement from last year's concert since we communicated a lot more with our fans. We would say we're about five times better than last year. I think we're half way there."
SHINee members added, "It's our second concert in Korea. We gave our concert the title 'SHINee World II' because this concert will be a continuation of last year's and we plan to show our fans a totally different world of our own. We worked very hard to prepare for this concert so I think a lot of fans will be able to go home with smiles on their faces."
At the concert, SHINee performed songs like "Replay," "Ring Ding Dong," "Lucifer" and performed a total of 29 songs, which included individual performances of each member.
Regarding the stage, Jonghyun revealed, "Our scale for this concert got much bigger than last year's concert. We have more special equipment as well as various little special events for the fans."
The concert consisted of special equipment like large LED screens, 2 live screens broadcasting the concert, moving stage, turn table, lift and wire to provide their fans with various types of performances.
Meanwhile, after completing their concert in Seoul, they'll be leaving for Taiwan and Singapore for their next tour stops.
