WINNER Member Seunghoon Falls Off Stage Mid-Concert

A member of YG Entertainment's newest idol group WINNER fell off the stage mid-performance in Singapore over the weekend.

On September 14, WINNER's Lee Seunghoon took a step too far and fell during the encore at the YG Family concert in Singapore. He was taken to the hospital after returning to the stage and completing the encore performance. Seunghoon sustained no injuries from the accident.

Videos posted on YouTube by concertgoers show Seunghoon using a phone to take a picture or video of Epik High's DJ Tukutz. The WINNER member was taking steps backwards to get a better shot when he stumbled and fell off the stage.

In the video, other members of WINNER and YG Family are seen crowding the edge of the stage to see what happened. It appears that, after confirming that he was not injured, the performers returned to completing the YG Family concert's finale.

The concert's production company released a statement in regards to the incident, confirming that Seunghoon was all right. "Immediately after the show, Seunghoon was sent to a hospital for treatment, and no serious symptoms have been found under doctor's diagnosis. He is currently discharged from the hospital and is resting now."

The statement continued, "YG, Live Nation and One Production deeply appreciate all the fans worrying about his sudden injury during the show. We would like to assure all fans that Seunghoon is fine and well."

The YG Family concert, officially called YG Family 2014 World Tour: Power, had two shows in Singapore on September 13 and 14. The concert's next performance is in Beijing, China on October 19, followed by a performance Taoyuan, Taiwan on October 25.

WINNER debuted on August 12 with the album "2014 S/S" and won five awards on Korean music programs for their song "Empty." WINNER was YG Entertainment's first boy group to debut in eight years, following Big Bang who debuted in 2006.
