K-Idols Who Have Written Books [Blog]

In the Korean entertainment industry it is the norm for bands and solo singers to release photo books. However, idol books aren't always just companion pieces for albums or concerts, where artists pose for the camera.

Some idols have written actual fiction books, self-help books and others have even delved into nail art! Here's a list of Korean singers and actors with interesting books.

[F.T. Island] Lee Hong Ki

F.T. Island leader Hong Ki has never been shy about his love for nail art. If you don't believe me, check his twitter.

He penned a 144 page nail book, aptly called Lee Hong Ki Nail Book, which not only includes fashionable pictures of him in the latest trends, but also provides tips, visual tutorials and personal stories about his passion for nail art. To purchase the book for $37.99 go here.

[Epik High] Tablo

Epik High's Tablo is known for his soulful lyrics, so it was only a matter of time before he wrote a book. He wrote Pieces of You, a collection of short stories that sold over 50,000 copies in just one week! And don't worry, there's an English edition.

To purchase the book for $24.99 go here. One of my favorite quotes is, "Cowards, I believe, are people who are afraid to embrace what they want or need in a natural, honest way. Bullies for example, replace their need for attention or care with irrational violence."

Jang Geun Suk

Actor, singer and all-around entertainer Jang Geun Suk has a passion for cooking. He wrote a cookbook in Japanese called Jang Geun Suk Love Recipe. It contains his secret recipes, lifestyle tips, and photographs of personally-prepared dishes.

To purchase the book for $61.99 go here.
