Ariana Grande 'Problem' With Diva Rumors: 'Break Free' Singer Slams Gossip On Twitter, Preaches Love

Ariana Grande just can’t seem to escape all the rumors of diva-like behavior. With new reports surfacing seemingly every day – the latest being that she wished death on her own fans – the pop star took to Twitter Tuesday night to address the haters. While she didn’t explicitly deny any one claim, she generally called the gossip laughable, and advised detractors to give love a try.

Earlier that day, the New York Daily News had reported the explosive rumor about Grande’s ill will toward her fans. They quoted a source as saying, “She did autographs and pics and was all smiles until she got into the elevator. And as soon as the doors shut she said, ‘I hope they all f*cking die.’” This, of course, is only one of many recent claims about the star – others being that she was a “nightmare” at this month’s Stand Up 2 Cancer telethon, that she stormed out of a photo shoot in Australia, and that she demands that photographers shoot the left side of her face.

In her series of tweets, Grande asserted that she isn’t sweating the negative chatter too hard. She wrote, “Man, some of these rumors that have been coming out about me lately actually have me laughing out loud. Really can’t take em seriously.” She added, “Sooner or later ppl will realize that what u put out is what you get back. the lies/hate etc. give love and I promise life will treat you better.”

Emphasizing that general theme, Grande later tweeted, “Love, love, love, love, love, love, love. k? n here’s some more love for u. even those who are unkind. here’s some love for u too. u need it most.” In conclusion, the singer quoted lyrics from rent, tweeting, “Share love. give luv. spread love. measure ur life in luv.”
