2PM Walks The Red Carpet In Japan In Party-Wear

2PM is "going crazy" with their comeback.

The K-pop group set up the ultimate party event at Tokyo's Lotfungi Arena for their fans in Japan, following the release of their eighth Japanese single "Midaretmeina," according to the Korean entertainment outlet Osen.

The boys were spotted greeting approximately 2,000 fans as they walked the red carpet in "party-wear."

The live-performance during the event was the highlight of the night, with the six-member group performing their hit "Fight," which was written and composed by member Taecyeon, as well as their songs "Midaretmeina" and "Hands Up." For their encore performance, 2PM performed "Midaretmeina" once again.

2PM has been dominating music charts in Japan with their recently released single. They ranked No. 1, 2 and 3 on the Tower Records Music Chart as well as the World Daily Chart.

"Midaretmeina" also ranked No. 2 on the popular Oricon Daily Chart.

As the song continues to make its way to the top of the K-pop music charts in Japan, the members of 2PM have officially begun their promotions for the track. Along with the subway advertisements featuring the faces of each 2PM member in Osaka, a total of 52 advertisements were seen in Tokyo's Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akasaka, Omotaesan and other major locations.

So many 2PM advertisements are being seen in certain locations of Tokyo that fans have dubbed them as "2PM Streets."

The explosive comeback of 2PM has spread across Asia, with the group ranking No. 1 on one of China's biggest music video sites, YinYuiTei, according to the publication Asia One.

Although 2PM is currently active in the K-pop industry, the members have already thought about the future when the eligible members will have to complete their mandatory military service.

"If we entered the army in a zigzag way, it would take us six years to be complete as a group again. Truthfully, we don't have a lot of members in our group. Whenever we do events and one or two members weren't able to attend, it makes a really big difference too. We can probably do unit promotions too, but it's still not 2PM," said Jun.K in an interview with Joy News.
