On July 24, Nichkhun crashed into a motorcycle while driving drunk. Police report that his blood alcohol content was 0.056% and temporary lost his privilege to drive.
JYP Entertainment commented, "This accident happened due to us so we apologize."
This accident has also affected the group 2PM's activities. Many are also curious to see if Nichkhun will be able to attend the 'JYP Nation' concert in August.
Although Nichkhun was the one who was drunk and caused the accident, many say that JYP should have done something to prevent this from happening. Since Nichkhun had been drinking with the company before the accident, many felt that the company could have seen this coming.
Internet users commented, "Nichkhun did do something wrong, but JYP could have done something about it" and "I don't want to see any more drunk driving accidents from celebrities."
