Dylan Penn is no stranger to the limelight. Growing up as the daughter of megastars Sean Penn and Robin Wright, it was no surprise when the young woman decided to step into the world of modeling.

However, the rising star recently revealed that her parents were not to happy with a rather risqué semi-nude photo shoot that she did earlier this year.

"They were a bit surprised because I didn't warn them," Dylan told Italian Vanity Fair, regarding the nude photo spread in the April issue of Treats magazine. "And my dad said, 'OK, you reached the limit. You better not go any further.' I learned my lesson."

Dylan seemed to throw herself into the project, which was shot by photographer Tony Duran. In the Treats article, the 23-year-old said, "That was definitely an experience I will never forget. I never would have guessed getting naked--using a Fendi purse to cover my vagina--would be so challenging!"

However, when Italian Vanity Fair asked the model if she regretted taking the nude photos, she couldn't help but reveal her true feelings.

"[T]o be honest, if I could go back, I would not have taken that much clothing off. I was a little naïve," admitted Dylan.

The aspiring actress also spoke about the unique lifestyle she grew up living with her famous parents.

"When I was 8, we went for two months to Port Douglas in Queensland, Australia, where my father was shooting a movie [Terrence Malik's The Thin Red Line]," said Dylan. "Kids my age never left California and here I was, going to school with Aboriginal kids in a dream-like location. Unforgettable."

Dylan will soon appear in a Vogue fashion spread and is set to make her big screen debut in the horror film "Condemned," which will be released next year.

However, it seems young Penn would rather pursue a career behind the camera instead of acting.

"I like to write and I would love to be a screenwriter one day and a director," said Dylan.

Well, both of the star's parents have directed, so filmmaking is likely in her genes as well.
