CNBLUE, First Half of the Year-Acting, Last Half of the Year-Singing

Top rock band CNBLUE have been busy acting and singing.

The group has a motto, 'Sing together, act separate' in which they have shown recently through the dramas that they have been acting in. 

Three of the four members have already had their roles in dramas. When they first started acting, many wondered who these rookies were, not knowing that they were already famous singers.

CNBLUE started with their single, Hey You. In February, Kang Min Hyuk began his role in the drama "Unexpected You" and Lee Jung Shin appearing as a cameo. Lee Jong Hyun started his role in the drama "A Gentleman's Dignity" in May. Both Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jong Hyun provided support to a 60% viewer rating with their dramas.

While these two members were busy in the acting field, leader Jung Yong Hwa has been focusing on music. For the last half of the year, they plan to perform in Japan and Korea.

Jung Yong Hwa, who had gained much attention with his two dramas, is now taking a break and letting the other members make their debut in acting. Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jong Hyun are both showing off their newfound talent in their respective dramas.

Japan Misses CNBLUE...They are waiting for Jung Yong Hwa's music

For the last half of the year, they plan to make their way back to their singing roots. On August 1, they will be releasing their Japan single, "Come On."

Last October, their Japan debut song, "In My Head" ranked number 1 for foreign artists on the Oricon Chart for the first time in 41 years. 

An official stated, "CNBLUE will finish all activities in Japan by November. They plan to return to Korea and release an album back at home.
