August Alsina Wakes Up From Three-Day Coma After Falling From Stage In NYC

August Alsina is on the mend after suffering a scary fall from a stage during a concert earlier this week. The 22-year-old singer revealed on Friday that he woke up from a three-day coma following the incident.

Alsina reportedly fainted while performing in New York City, falling from the stage into a crowd of fans.

Several onlookers later posted videos of the nasty fall to YouTube.

According to TMZ, Alsina's rep revealed that the budding music star was suffering from seizures and was hospitalized in the ICU.

The rep later confirmed that Alsina had been in a medically induced coma since Tuesday and was placed on a breathing machine.

After a frightening three days, the musician reportedly came out of the coma and quickly took to Instagram to let his fans know that he is alright.

"This is a bit graphic but i wanted to share this w/ every follower of mine," wrote Alsina, alongside a picture of the hip hop star in his hospital bed. "iWoke up out of a 3 day coma... &This guy @banggang_moneyteam right here never once left my side. What I'm tryna say is cherish the ones in life who cherish you & take good care of yourself. Your life can be gone in a split second'. I'm recovering well and thankyou for all of your prayers & concerns. -Yung"

In the photo, alert Alsina is shown hooked up to an oxygen mask and his head is wrapped in bandages.

The singer, who was recently named BET's Best New Artist of the Year, received an outpour of prayers from fans and friends, including Chris Brown who posted a message for his pal on Twitter.
