Girls' Generation's member Taeyeon was eliminated on round 2 of JTBC "Hidden Singer 3".

On "Hidden Singer 3" aired on September 3, Taeyeon appeared as the first original girl group singer. She competed with five contestants who tried to sing like her.

The mission song for round 2 was Girls' Generation's "Gee". Taeyeon said, "I think this song is going to be hard because it's a song all the members sang together."

She received 31 votes as the one who sang the "least like Taeyeon", meaning she was eliminated. Taeyeon said, "Who am I?" and "Who is my voice?" at the shocking results.

The MC said, "31 votes is not that much, actually. Jo Sung Mo was eliminated with 81 votes."

Taeyeon said, "'Gee' itself is a hard song. I did feel a bit awkward singing other members' parts and I had no thought in my head. But I'm thankful and happy that there are people listening to my voice and following it."
