Weddings always inspire other weddings. So the appearance of Pippa Middleton and her boyfriend Nico Jackson and her brother James Middleton and his girlfriend Donna Air only makes us think about other potential engagements and weddings in the future! The extra surprise is that Pippa Middleton’s brother seems to make his relationship with Donna Air more and more public!

Pippa Middleton, Nico Jackson, James Middleton, Donna Air and more attended the wedding of their close friends Charlie Gilkes and Anneke von Trotha Taylor in Italy this past weekend. According to the Daily Mail, the wedding took place at “Carlo V Castle on the seafront in Monopoli”. Though Charlie Gilkes and Anneke von Trotha Taylor are mere (but rich) common folk, it looked like they wanted their wedding to be as fairytale and royally inspired as possible!

Pippa Middleton was a vision in her two-tone fuchsia-purple dress, standing next to her dapper boyfriend Nico Jackson in a clean-cut suit. She accessorized it simply with an angular necklace:

The real shocker was the attendance of James Middleton’s girlfriend Donna Air. Just a few months this year, there were rumors that his parents did not approve their relationship.

According to a previous article, a source close to the Middleton clan told Vanity Fair that his mother, Carole Middleton keeps Donna Air at arms length. While Pippa’s beau, Nico Jackson has been invited over many times, Donna has never been invited on holiday with the family. And they have been dating for a year! Maybe they don’t approve that she is almost five years older than James with a ten-year-old daughter. For a modern family, the Middletons are putting on airs and getting super conservative!

But as the summer wore on, James Middleton, 27, and Donna Air, 35, appeared together for events and popped up in airports after a family vacation with her daughter. Have they gotten the stamp of approval from the Middletons or are they rebelling?

Either way, it looks like the two Middletons may be getting engaged real soon. This Italian wedding just may be the last little push to the get the rings out of the pockets!
