K-Pop group Super Junior has been impressing fans for nearly a decade and recently they have found another reason for applause.

SM Entertainment mega-group Super Junior made history this month as the first K-Pop group to perform 100 live shows.  The group debuted in 2005 and has performed all over the world in places like Japan, Taiwan, Brazil, Peru, England, and the US.

With popularity that has stood the test of time, the members of the iconic boy band stood on stage on September 21 for a press conference before their "Super Junior World Tour Super Show 6" concert at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul to officially mark their 100th concert performance.

"We're so honored and emotional to hold the title of being the first Korean artist to reach 100 world tour concerts," the members said. "We'll always think of ourselves as the representative Korean national team anywhere we go. Thank you."

Kangin shared, "We prepared a lot for this concert, especially Shindong and Eunhyuk who put a lot of effort and sweat into it. Please look forward to it."

"We'll do our best to fill in Yesung's empty space," Heechul added.

"Super Show 6" opened in Seoul on September 19 and ran through the record-breaking show on September 21. The tour will take the group to Tokyo next with two performances on October 29 and 30.

Currently Super Junior is making headlines and topping charts with their most recent album and the lead single "MAMACITA."
