EXO Celebrates Luhan’s Return And Chen’s Birthday At Beijing Concert

Idol group EXO successfully wrapped up their first solo concert in Beijing today, according to the boy band's management agency, SM Entertainment.

EXO held their "EXO From EXO Planet #1 - The Lost Planet - in Beijing" concerts over the weekend at the Ookasong Stadium for a total of 20,000 fans, according to the Korean media outlet Osen Entertainment.

The K-pop group performed a total of 31 of its hit tracks, including "Mama," "Wolf," "Growl," "Overdose" and more, during the 2-hour concert.

Local fans held an event titled "EXO Forever" as well as a birthday party for EXO member Chen during the course of the group's stay in Beijing. The boy band's recent concert was even more exciting, as member Luhan was able to join his bandmates after a short hiatus, according to the publication Chinatopix.

Luhan had to miss EXO's recent concert in Bangkok because he was suffering from "headaches, insomnia, and dizziness due to severe fatigue," according to the message the singer wrote on his Weibo account.

"I apologize to Thai fans. The doctors advised me to take some rest, so I will not be able to participate in the concert in Thailand," wrote Luhan.

Despite Luhan's absence, EXO successfully heated up the stage for their fans.

"Thai fans showed amazing reactions for us, and we would give them a score of 100 percent. It was a great experience. We promise to come back as soon as possible," EXO stated as they thanked fans at the end of their concert.

EXO will be holding concerts in Hokuoka, Japan on November 11 to 13.

The 11-member group had gone through a difficult year as former EXO member Kris filed a lawsuit to nullify his contract with SM Entertainment, according to Allkpop.

"Our EXO members are carrying out our activities and have no issues with our agency," stated member Luhan, according to the Chinese news outlet QQ (Tencent).
