Michael Fassbender showed off his new moustache in a selfie with a fan in New Zealand. How did he get there? ‘Assassin's Creed’ star, who is currently shooting ‘The Light Between Oceans’ in Marlborough, was on board a ferry when a die-hard fan approached him for a quick picture.

According to Irish Independent, the fan Andree Malpass wrote on her Instagram, "Life is complete, met Michael Fassbender aka Mr Rochester [Jane Eyre] on the Wellington to Picton ferry!! #starstruck #michaelfassbender #newzealand.”

She must be an avoid romantic movie fan as she recognized him for being in ‘Jane Eyre’ and not ‘X Men’ or the rumored ‘Assassin’s Creed’.

‘The Light Between Ocean’ is about “a young lighthouse keeper and his wife who decide to keep an orphaned child who is washed up on shore,” according to Variety. The movie is based in New Zealand.

Based on the 1920s-set book by M L Stedman, the film is directed by ‘Blue Valentine’ director Derek Cianfrance.

But ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Star has been working too much and too frequently! That may explain why Michael Fassbender has not been seen with his rumored girlfriend Naomi Campbell. In fact, he has not taken a vacation in a very long time. Is the 38-year-old working too hard?

Career definitely seems like the priority for the Irish-German actor. Sorry Naomi Campbell.

“It’s not fair on somebody to be waiting for you,” the actor told GQ in February 2012. “You spend long periods of time apart and then when I am here, I’m working.”

"I’m kind of selfish with the hours that I put into the work," he continued. "I think the longest relationship that I've been in was two years. I started [acting] when I was 17, so I guess in my dating, adult life, that kind of covers it."

If you are looking to date ‘Assassin’s Creed’ star, we highly do not recommend it. Unless you wanna get super disappointed.
