"Grimm" Season 4 will return October 24, here is everything currently known about the new season of the show.

The most recent news from the show is that "Frankin & Bash" star Toni Trucks will guest star as Deputy Janelle Farris in Season 4, episode 6. The character "will request Nick and Hank's help with a highway-crime scene that seems a little ... off." Her character bio says "she finds herself pushing her resilience to the limit."

Erick Avari of "Warehouse 13" will also guest star as "a salvage-yard owner whose business attracts Nick's attention in regard to a string of highway disappearances" in the same episode. "Grimm" Season 4 premieres on Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

Last week Entertainment Weekly revealed a new series of Wesen that will be featured in the upcoming season. They are:

"Gedächtnis Esser: The part-man part-octopus Wesen has four tentacles that burrow into its victim's head. If that weren't lousy enough, the creature steals your memories and leaves you with dementia. "A lot of what we do is try to explain real-world problems, like in this case, identity theft," says executive producer Jim Kouf. "Our best Wesen ideas come when we have an emotional core that explains something in life."

Schinderdiv: "How do you explain people who are only out for themselves and do anything to achieve a goal?" asks executive producer David Greenwalt. If you answered, "A Schinderdiv!" then you are correct! This is your basic demon beast with long-bottom fangs (which must make shaving pretty difficult). This wesen is meant to embody ruthlessness and selfishness.

Heftigauroch: We're starting to suspect all these names are actually German micro-brews, but Kouf says the Heftigauroch is actually a bull-like Wesen that morphs into rage when provoked. In the show, he's a boxer who is very peaceful and doesn't want to fight. Yet when pushed too far he becomes ... yup, a raging bull. "When a bull is brought into a ring it doesn't necessarily want a fight requires being hit with picadors to get mad - this Wesen requires the same treatment," Kouf says.

Golem: The producers are cheating a little as the Golem is not a Wesen, but a creature from the Jewish religion. Made of clay and 10-feet high, he's made to protect the meek but is dangerous to try to control. "The twist with our Golem is how it gets destroyed," Kouf teases. "

A few details about the first episode called "Thanks for the Memories" have already leaked. The episode will a new kind of Wesen called the Gedachtnis Esser who has the can steal powers. In an interview with Zap2it, Greenwalt revealed that Grimm Season 4 episode 1 will be picking up "one minute after" the Season 3 finale.

The season 3 finale had several cliffhangers, one of which was that Captain Renard was shot in the chest several times Sasha Roiz, who plays the Captain, said, "I kind of saw it coming, so it's not a huge surprise. I think we'll try to find some interesting way to bring him back. We'll see what happens."

Nick also lost his powers in the season 3 finale, not to mention Juliette will probably still be angry for allowing Adalind to trick him into sleeping with her. David Giuntoli who plays Nick tells TV Guide, "Trubel is now my eye-seeing Grimm. I would hope I get the powers back on some level, but domestic life is much easier when I'm not having to kill monsters."

Season four will also feature Adalind and the Royals searching for her missing daughter, who Nick sent away with his mother. But, upcoming season will feature a "new character who will enter the fray who also really wants to find that baby", series co-creator David Greenwalt told TVLine.  This character, named Elizabeth Lascelle, will likely be played by CSI Alum Louise Lombard .

The producer also teased that "very bad things" will happen to newlyweds Monroe and Rosalee in the first half of the season. "There are forces out there, a kind of Wesen Klu Klux Klan, that do not like this kind of intermarriage," the executive producer said.

In the last season Sean Reard was badly injured in a fight, was seen nearing death. "There's nothing, it turns out, that medical science can really do for him," Greenwalt added. Which probably means there is a magic solution.

You miss the power," David Giuntoli told TVLine's Michael Aussiello, hinting at what is going on in Detective Nick Burkhardt's head after he's lost his Grimm powers. This, he said, after quoting Uncle Ben in "Spider-Man (2002)."

"With great power comes great responsibility," Giuntoli said.
