Internet users commented, "Siwon could get criticized for his opinion but he still posted it. It's really bold of him." They also wrote, "It's awesome that he's standing up for his friend." However, some internet users wrote, "Siwon has 2 million followers. He shouldn't have used his influence to sway people," and, "I think it's better to leave things as they are."

I won't make a mistake like this ever again. I'm really embarrassed and genuinely disappointed in myself. I'm so sorry." His formal apology was complemented with an announcement that he would stop his career.
Following, Nichkhun's older brother Nichan posted, "I want to comfort my brother," with a photo of his family. Nichkhun's family members were seen with memos with the writing, "Nichkhun," "Love you," "Fighting," and silly faces.
