'It' Movie Remake 2015 Happening Soon! Stephen King And Cary Fukunaga On The Hunt For The Next 'Pennywise The Dancing Clown'

"It" movie remake 2015 is gearing up! Stephen King's highly acclaimed movie adaptation will be revamped based on two-part series.

The planned project will be written and directed by Cary Fukunaga together with Chase Palmer who'll be co-writing the screenplay.

Roy Lee and Dan Lin will be spearheading the production together with Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Production.

The best selling psychological horror novel was published by Stephen King in 1986 under Viking Press.

It became an instant hit that interests ABC to create a TV miniseries based on the novel in 1990.

John Ritter, Harry Anderson, Tim Reid, Annette O'Toole and Richard Thomas starred as the members of 'The Losers" club while Tim Curry gave life to the horrible "Pennywise the Dancing Clown."

Tommy Lee Wallace helmed co-wrote the two-part series with Stephen King and Lawrence Cohen. "It" became an instant hit to viewers even winning an Emmy award for Best Musical Score by Richard Bellis.

While, Tim Curry gained praises from his astounding performance as Pennywise, he would most likely not come back to reprise his role for the upcoming It movie remake slated for 2015.

However, fans are very eager to know who would become the new face to the iconic monster clown.

The planned remake is still in its early stages, thus no casting news is yet to be reported.

Warner Bros. earned the rights in 2009 where the original plan is to remake the film into a single movie but has now change into a two-part series following the story of the original TV series from ABC.

It movie remake is reportedly scheduled for release sometime in 2015.
