K-Drama OST Roundup: f(x) Krystal Sings For 'My Lovely Girl' Soundtrack

Krystal of SM Entertainment’s f(x) delivers the stirring track “All of a Sudden” which is also Romanized as "On the Verge of Tears" for part two of the “My Lovely Girl” soundtrack.

“My Lovely Girl” is set in the fictitious agency ANA Entertainment. Krystal portrays Yoon Se Na, a unlikely trainee whose deceased sister dated acclaimed songwriter Lee Hyun Wook.

Rain is Lee Hyun Wook, the grieving producer/songwriter who takes on the task of introducing Se Na to the harsh realities of the entertainment industry.

As the drama is set within the entertainment industry, the cast is predominantly comprised of idols. Korean critics have questioned this casting which also includes INFINITE’s L and Hoya. However, “My Lovely Girl” is a musically solid drama. “My Lovely Girl” provides a level of reality in terms of the musical competency of the cast that “Trot Lovers” was only able to obtain through A Pink’s Eun Ji.

“My Lovely Girl” airs on SBS on Wednesdays and Thursdays in the 10PM KST time slot.

KARA’s Gyuri and Seungyeon sing “Hello” for part one of the “Blade Man” soundtrack.

“Blade Man” which is also known as “Iron Man” is a supernatural drama starring Lee Dong Wook of “Hotel King” and “Roommates.” Lee Dong Wook is Joo Hong Bin, a privileged man whose negative attitude manifests itself into blades which protrude from his body.

Shin Se Kyung of “Tazza: The Hidden Card” is Son Se Dong, a woman whose bright spirit reaches Hong Bin’s cold heart.

“Blade Man” airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays on KBS in the 9:55PM KST time slot.

Crayon Pop bring their upbeat charisma to volume five of the "Hi! School Love On" soundtrack with "C'mon C'mon." 

"Hi! School Love On" resumed airing on September 26 after a two week break due to Chuseok and the Asia Games.

"Hi! School Love On" airs on KBS2 on Fridays in the 8:55PM KST time slot. 

BTOB’s Sungjae and Oh Seung Hee lend their voices to the “Plus Nine Boys” soundtrack with the song “Curious.”

Sungjae is included in the cast of “Plus Nine Boys” as Kang Min Gu, a nineteen year old high school senior who falls in love with Soo Ah, an intriguing neighborhood girl. A Pink’s Park Cho Rong portrays Soo Ah, a girl in love with indie music, who has all of the high school boys swooning.

Actor and model Kim Young Kwang leads the cast as Kang Jin Gu, a twenty-nine year old tour planner at a leading travel agency. He struggles with his love for his co-worker Ma Se Young, in what appears to be a dead-end friendship devoid of romance. Jin Gu experiences the hardship of living within an age that ends with the number nine, along with his nine year old brother Dong Gu and his thirty-nine year old uncle Kwang Soo.

“Plus Nine Boys” airs on tvN on Fridays and Saturdays in the 8:50PM KST time slot.

Block B sings the theme “Secret Door” for the historical drama “Secret Door.”

 “Secret Door” premiered on September 22, with the plot focused on a secret surrounding the Crown Prince Sado. Lee Je Hoon (Architecture 101, Fashion King) stars as the Crown Prince Sado.

“Secret Door” airs on SBS on Mondays and Tuesdays in the 11PM KST time slot.
