T-ARA to No Longer be Advertisement Models?

Due to T-ARA's recent scandal, their roles as endorsement models in the advertisement industry are in danger.

As soon as the news that member Hwayoung is to leave the group was revealed on Monday, many of the brands that they model for have reported that they are receiving hundreds of requests on their official homepages from fans claiming that they will no longer be using the products they are promoting if they do not remove T-ARA as their endorsement models.

T-ARA, who is currently modeling for cosmetic brand 'Tony Moly' especially, has revealed that they will not be signing the girls as endorsement models again. A representative stated, "T-ARA's contract ends at the end of August. We were in the midst of negotiating a new contract, but because of this entire scandal happening, we will not be signing them on again." It has also been reported that some fans stated "We will not buy anything that has T-ARA's face on it." They also visited stores, making them take down T-ARA advertisement posters.

T-ARA also is signed on with an outdoor clothing brand 'Wild Rose' since April and still has eight months on their contract. Representatives stated today, "There is still time left with their contract, but because this is such a sensitive situation, we will be figuring out what to do next with T-ARA's company."
